Billed as the only museum providing every visitor a private view, its official opening by the tallest man in Britain attracted TV crews from every continent in the world (bar Antarctica… they got cold feet), including two of the four US networks, and loads of coverage on the BBC. Gordon's Gin sponsored the launch exhibition, on the history of gin, and got gigantic value for money.
